International eyewear brand Magrabi Optical has opened its first store in Akmerkez, İstanbul following the successful acquisition of Şişli Optik Ticaret A.Ş ('Sisli'). The completed transaction marks Magrabi Optical's first acquisition outside the MENA region and the start of a strategic initiative to expand into select emerging markets.

Retailer To Open First of Three Canadian Locations at Yorkdale Shopping Centre

Chico's FAS, Inc. announces the company's international expansion with White House Black Market's (WH|BM) first Canadian boutique opening at Yorkdale Shopping Centre, Toronto on October 24th.  The women's retailer will open its second international location at Square One, Mississauga on October 29th, followed by Upper Canada Mall, Newmarket on November 12th. Yorkdale Shopping Centre and Square One are owned by Oxford Properties Group and Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo).Upper Canada Mall is owned by Oxford Properties Group and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB).

Katherine Hooker will debut her latest collection of coats and jackets this October with the opening of a U.S. pop-up shop in New York City beginning October 5th. Company acquires 100% of Bixti and opens an office in Buenos Aires

Elo7, the first and largest marketplace for buying and selling handcrafted products in Brazil, announces its expansion in Latin America through the acquisition of Bixti, the leading marketplace for handcrafted products in Argentina.
