Silver Jeans Co.™, the Canadian-based company that has earned a reputation for high quality and well-fitting jeans in the mid luxury denim market, is pleased to announce that Silver Jeans Co.™ will officially open its "loft" concept store in Mall of America® August 17, 2013 in Bloomington, Minnesota.

"It's like the Neiman Marcus of Pawn, the Mercedes-Benz of Pawn, the Tiffany's of Pawn... you get the idea," laughs President, Adriana Hernandez, "it's the complete opposite of the dark, cluttered, seedy places you may have seen on Law & Order or in the movies." 

Indeed it is. The grand facade features a giant mural that takes up the entire front and side of the large brand-new building – one that took over 5 years to complete. The mural, created by Wynwood artist and girl-power darling, Diana Contreras (best known for "Sofia Rose"), will be unveiled at the grand opening. 

Gilt, www.gilt.com, the innovative online shopping destination will open its first-ever designer outlet in Louisville, Kentucky, it announced today. The Gilt.com Designer Outlet will open Friday, June 28 for one month at the Shelbyville Road Plaza at 4600 Shelbyville Road.

Building on plans to expand its market share in North America, Marimekko announces a series of new shop-in-shop locations in some of the region's most notable department and specialty home stores. Personalized fashion marketplace Lyst announced today the launch of its integrated checkout which enables customers to purchase from multiple designers and retailers directly on Lyst. Developed by Lyst, this proprietary technology securely stores users' payment and shipping information, thereby replacing the multi-page checkout and allowing customers to purchase products in a single step.

The June issue of Bergdorf Goodman Magazine will feature several cars from Cadillac's past as the luxury automaker becomes the first non-fashion partner of the Bergdorf Goodman fashion publication.

Macy’s (NYSE: M) and MADE Fashion Week, an initiative co-founded by Jenné Lombardo, Mazdack Rassi and Keith Baptista, are collaborating to create an ongoing series of collections to be carried exclusively by the retailer beginning March 12. Launching in 150 Macy’s stores and on macys.com, the collections will sit within dedicated MADE Fashion Week space in the Impulse department, with new items rotating onto the floor throughout the season. Featuring approximately 20 to 30 pieces per collection and inspired by cutting-edge street fashion, the launch campaign was shot by Terry Richardson.

UNIQLO, the global clothing retailer, announced today the creation of a 10-week volunteer and donation program to distribute 100,000 donated items of HEATTECH and 10,000 items of Ultra Light Down jackets to those in regions affected by Hurricane Sandy. The donated HEATTECH items are for men, women and kids and include long-sleeve t-shirts and tights, while the Ultra Light Down jackets and parkas are for men and women.

New Look successfully launched its innovative retail concept store in Marble Arch complete with a Kelly Brook Blippar enabled window display. Kelly Brook was in store to cut the ribbon and try out the new Blippar POS for her new make up range. The store is one of the new premium and boutique stores featuring cutting edge technology including Blippar enabled Kelly Brook POS. The store, of course, also features New Look's customary range of fabulous clothing, including evening dresses and jeans.

LORD & TAYLOR ANNUAL HOLIDAY WINDOWS

Lord & Taylor unveiled its 75
th annual holiday windows on November 13th, 2012 with performances along Fifth Avenue by Megan Hilty, star of NBC’s Smash, and the Young People’s Chorus of New York City.

Hilty performed two traditional holiday songs, followed by an in-store appearance where she met with customers and signed copies of “The Music of Smash” CD. The Young People’s Chorus of New York City also performed traditional holiday songs.

This year’s holiday windows mark the 75th year of smiles, laughter, joy, and magic; celebrating the precious, worldwide tradition of spending holidays with those you love. Sharing the story of Santa Claus on his day off, traveling around the world to discover global holiday traditions, the windows are inspired by picturesque locations during the holidays and the customs celebrated among friends and family worldwide.
