nikeNIKE  announces it will extend its relationship with the U.S. Olympic Committee as an Official Outfitter of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Teams through the London 2012 Olympic Games.

As an Official Outfitter, Nike is honored to provide U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes with the Medal Stand uniform worn on the awards podium and during medals ceremonies at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, and the London 2012 Olympic Games.

The USOC and Nike will introduce the Medal Stand look for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games at a reception for media at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Media Summit in Chicago on Tuesday, April 15.

, a division of NIKE, Inc., announced the launch of Chris Pauls first signature shoe, the Jordan CP, set to release on March 1, 2008. Now in his third season as point guard for the New Orleans Hornets, Paul joins select Team Jordan athletes Carmelo Anthony and Derek Jeter as members of the Brand with their own signature shoe.

Nike announced yesterday that John Hoke, Vice President of Global Footwear Design for the Nike brand, is moving into the newly created role of Vice President, Global Footwear, for Converse, responsible for the brands global footwear product management, design, development and innovation.

NIKE, Inc. (NYSE:NKE) today announced that executive Garry Cook has been promoted from International General Manager to President of the Jordan Brand.

Cook, 45, has been with Nike for almost 12 years, working in various sales and general management roles in the United States and Europe, including country sales manager for the United Kingdom, regional apparel sales director for Europe, Middle East and Africa, and general manager for Nike Team Sports in the United States. Most recently as International General Manager for the Jordan Brand, Cook developed a five-year strategic plan to grow the brand in Asia and energize the Jordan Brand in Europe. In his new role, Cook will report to Craig Zanon, head of global basketball for Nike

Nike announced that company executive Sandy Bodecker has been named to the newly created position of Vice President of Nike Global Design. In his new role, Bodecker will oversee all aspects of design for the Nike brand, from concept creation to retail presentation. He will report to Nike brand President Charlie Denson.
Nike  unveiled the Nike Air Native N7, a unique athletic performance shoe designed specifically for Native Americans. The Nike Air Native N7 is the result of nearly two years of collaborative research, development and fit testing in partnership with the Native American community. This first-of-a-kind performance shoe is built on a new and unique last created to address the specific fit and width requirements for the Native American foot. The result is a true Native fitting, performance product.
NIKE, Inc. (NYSE: NKE) reported financial results for the first quarter, ended August 31, 2007. Revenue grew 11 percent to $4.7 billion, compared to $4.2 billion for the same period last year. Changes in currency exchange rates increased revenue growth by 3 percentage points for the quarter. First quarter net income increased 51 percent to $569.7 million, compared to $377.2 million in the prior year and diluted earnings per share increased 51 percent to $1.12, versus $0.74 last year.

NIKE, Inc. (NYSE:NKE) announced that John Slusher, 38, Vice President of Sports Marketing for Asia Pacific and the Americas, has been named Vice President of Global Sports Marketing for Nike Inc. Slusher will report to Nike CEO Mark Parker. Slusher replaces Adam Helfant, who will be leaving the company later this month.
