Ceramic Watches Debut from Modus

To underscore its longstanding passion for motorsports, TAG Heuer today announced a partnership with the Skip Barber Racing School as the official, exclusive Timekeeper and Watch.

The official partnership with Skip Barber Racing establishes TAG Heuer as the official Watch and Timekeeper of Skip Barber Racing School and its race series programs. From the classroom to the track, the partnership weaves Skip Barber Racing School and TAG Heuer together on-site, offering visitors an immersive experience from the moment they step onto the world-class race tracks. A custom, limited-edition TAG Heuer logo timepiece will also be created to commemorate the partnership.

Reinforcing its position as a purveyor of technologically advanced and aesthetically arresting timepieces, TAG Heuer, the leading Swiss luxury watch brand, will celebrate the opening of its first North American flagship, located within Las Vegas' most prestigious shopping destination, Crystals at CityCenter.  The official grand opening commences with a Ribbon Cutting at 10am on Thursday, June 2, 2011 with a special appearance by Jean-Christophe Babin, Worldwide CEO, TAG Heuer.

Today watchmaker Blancier introduced a unique and very special Military Chronograph watch for the American market. The Official Desert Watch has been given the code name Desert Wolf. Blancier developed this unique, sturdy watch for American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. This chronograph can be worn during deployments and it honors the struggle of America's fighting forces overseas.

Following their dramatic victory in the 137th Kentucky Derby on Saturday, the connections of Animal Kingdom were presented with The Longines Column-Wheel Chronograph, the official watch of the Kentucky Derby at the event’s exclusive Winners’ Circle Gala.

Owner Barry Irwin, trainer Graham Motion and jockey Johnny Velazquez received the watches from Jennifer Judkins, U.S. Brand President for Longines, the Official Watch and Timekeeper of the Kentucky Derby and Churchill Downs.
