Aquascutum Designer's Shift after London Fashion Week

Aquascutum's long-time designers Michael Herz and Graeme Fidler are leaving the brand. Up to now they acted as chief designers of women's and men's wear collections of the Aquascutum.

Their cooperative work at Aquascutum began in 2000 and 2002, respectively. During the LFW 2010-11 Michael Herz label's women's wear designer showed her last collection under Aquascutum.

"They've had a great time at the brand, but they want to move on, and we fully understand that," said Earl, Aquascutum's chief executive. "We wish them well, and the situation is amicable," she told WWD.

On April 1-7, 2010, Russian Fashion Week, the biggest fashion event in Eastern Europe, is celebrating its 20th
season/10 years in Moscow's Congress-Hall of World Trade Center, turning the Russian capital into the world's hottest fashion destination for this period.

The Last Day of London Fashion Week Womenswear Day

The rising stars of London fashion landscape Peter Pilotto's collection inspired by art installations from Jan de Cock, Francis Bacon will last after Gupta in the last day of LFW. Sandwished between Peter Pilotto and Saunders Basso and Brooke will live stream his collection. Further one of last season's homeward-bound craze Jonathan Saunders will star on London catwalk.  Within this show noble-blood designer Amanda Wakeley presents her collection based on J.W Waterhouse works. Also this day Christopher Bailey's British heritage brand Burberry will apply to 3D tegnology for expansion of British fashion. Along Yorkshire boy this day the Hampshire girl Jenny Packham offers his joint work with artist Anthony Burrill under Acid Washed music. The final stage of womenswear day will end by Eun Jeong's ‘a forgotten story’ collection.

Third Day of London Fashion Week 2010-11

Today the show shedule starts with long-term professional Betty Jackson. After Jackson the catwalk will seethe by multifarious Richard Nicoll's “Menswear, DIY and Serge Lutens." Then under Margaret Howell's will the British Isles traditional fabrics and skills will mould modern collection of clothes on the catwalk. Further one of last season's homeward designer Matthew Williamson will absorb LFW's voguish pack. At the second half of the day Louise Goldin's collection will be shown for coming bleak autumn and showy winter. Furthemore, inspired by London's grey skies, flea markets and libraries Meadham Kirchhoff will reveal the true nature of “Gypsies, junkies and blue roses.” Also today the Vivienne Westwood Red Label will showcase its collection.

The Second Day of London Fashion Week

The week's second day will launch by Daks' aviation on LIVE. As soon as the strong blow of RAF ceases the catwalk will bear Charles Anastase's fairy-tale whimsies. LFW's on-shedule debutant with "Mash-Up" Kinder's second show will focus on “Pretty smiles, sultry souls and feisty spirits.” Also the show will welcome the man of sculptural chic Emilio de la Morena and his second on-shedule vagaries. Then the Morena's sculpture theme will continue by booster of big size Mark Fast. He will don his web-like knitwear to bronze sculptures of Dimitri Chiparus. Before show's final the owner of  dazzling trompe l’oeil-effect prints Mary Katrantzou will reveal her “Portraiture, the French colonial empire and excess." At the end of show the Luella or ex-gloss journo will change by ex-contributing fashion editor Ann-Sofie Back.

Moscow's most renowned Russian Fashion Week (RFW) yet closed this weekend with a fully packed RFW after-party in The Most club, leaving behind 7 days with 58 collections by the best designers from Russia and ex-USSR countries along with fashion designers from the USA, Spain, Italy and Malaysia. DJ Alexandra Richards, daughter of Keith Richards from Rolling Stones, spinned the discs in the club on RFW closing night.

Now in its third year, Nolcha Fashion Week will take place simultaneously with New York Fashion Week from September 14th - 18th at the iconic Bohemian National Hall in association with Czech Republic Consulate General. ENM, India's premier fully-fledged electronic news monitoring agency, has released its Fashion Week report. African designers will be scoring the winning goal during the upcoming FIFA Confederations Cup in June, when the inaugural Africa Fashion Week takes place in Johannesburg.

African Fashion International (AFI), which runs Cape Town, Joburg and Durban fashion weeks, has announced that the first Africa Fashion Week will be an eight-day showcase of the continents’ leading designers from 12 to 19 June 2009 at the Sandton Convention Centre and will replace the more localised Joburg Fashion Week on this year’s Spring/Summer calendar.
