Perry Ellis, a division of Perry Ellis International (NASDAQ:PERY), announced that John Crocco has left the company to pursue other opportunities. Crocco has been the brand’s creative director overseeing design and merchandising for the full range of Perry Ellis lifestyle products, including men’s apparel and accessories.
Oscar Feldenkreis, president and COO of Perry Ellis International, said, “John Crocco has been integral to the continued growth and diversification of the Perry Ellis brand. He has been a valued member of the Perry Ellis family and we wish him well as he pursues new opportunities.”
This past year has been a good one for Perry Ellis and with strong momentum moving into fiscal 2012, expansion into new international markets as well as organic growth within the U.S. is increasing the brand’s global presence.

Perry Ellis International, Inc. (NASDAQ:PERY) today reported results for the third quarter and nine months ended October 30, 2010. Third Quarter Operations Review
For the three months ended October 30, 2010 (“third quarter of fiscal 2011), total revenues increased 13% to $201.3 million, compared to $178.6 million in the third quarter ended October 31, 2009 (“third quarter of fiscal 2010”). Revenue increases were realized across numerous businesses- led by strong performance within Perry Ellis branded businesses, golf, retail and bottoms businesses.

Perry Ellis International (NASDAQ:PERY) announced today the extension of its license agreement with Nike, Inc. in which Perry Ellis will continue to design, produce, manufacture and distribute men’s, women’s and children’s swimwear, performance and casual swimwear products, select apparel and swim equipment within North America under the Nike Swim brand through 2014.

Perry Ellis International will maintain distribution through its current account base of sporting goods stores, department stores and specialty swim accounts, while also focusing on growing its accessory and team sales business by adding on additional school and aquatic club programs. Today, Perry Ellis distributes Nike Swim product into over 4,000 domestic points of retail distribution.

Perry Ellis International (NASDAQ:PERY) and Westport Corporation announced today that they have agreed to not renew their license agreement for men’s accessories including wallets, bags, and gift sets under the Perry Ellis family of brands. The license agreement expires December 31, 2010. Westport will continue to manufacture and distribute accessories for Perry Ellis International until then. Effective January 1, 2011, Perry Ellis International will take over all aspects of its accessories business.

Perry Ellis International (NASDAQ:PERY) announced yesterday that it has agreed with Smart Apparel (U.S.) Inc. to end its license agreement for men’s dress shirts under the Perry Ellis and Perry Ellis Portfolio brands. Under the amended agreement Smart Apparel will continue to manufacture and distribute Perry Ellis dress shirts until December 31, 2010. Effective January 1, 2011, Perry Ellis International will take over all aspects of its dress shirt business. Smart Apparel will continue producing Perry Ellis International’s tailored clothing including men’s suits, suit separates, and sport jackets, which are available at major department stores nationwide.
