Perry Ellis International (NASDAQ:PERY) announced today the promotion of John F. (“Jack”) Voith to President, of the Golf, & Sportswear Division effective immediately.

Jack joined Perry Ellis International in 2000, most recently serving as Executive Vice President of the Sportswear Division. He brings more than 30 years of management & apparel sales experience to his new role, including his time at Phillips Van Heusen & Arrow Shirt Co., where he served as EVP of Sportswear within both organizations. Mr. Voith graduated with a B.A. from Towson University in 1977.

The American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) Education Foundation today announced that Perry Ellis International and Siemens PLM Software will serve as Scholar Sponsors for the upcoming Material World opening night cocktail reception benefiting the AAFA Education Foundation.  Proceeds from the September 30 event will provide scholarships to students and additional funding to thirteen AAFA-endorsed educational institutions.

Perry Ellis International (NASDAQ:PERY) announced yesterday that it has signed a licensing agreement with S.A.R.L. de Gestion Pierre Cardin to source, sell and distribute the Pierre Cardin® brand for men’s sportswear, except for woven shirts, in the U.S., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
