60,000 salon professionals will come to Chicago for America's Beauty Show ... to be held at McCormick Place (West) Saturday, Sunday and Monday -  March 27, 28, 29. Show opens at 11am on the 27th; 9am on the 28th and 29th; closes at 5pm.

Five years ago Big Girl Cosmetics' Creative Director Kiley Russell sat in the audience of a taping of legendary television production mogul Oprah Winfrey. SnS Design, a woman-owned industrial design consultancy located in New York City, was selected to design the Temptu Air, a portable compressor for the professional makeup industry. The Temptu Air is manufactured by Temptu, a New York City-based professional makeup company at the forefront of airbrush technology.

HBA Global Expo has enhanced its New Products Innovation Showcase to provide attendees with more information and inspiration for future product development plans and to revitalize existing brands. M*A*C Cosmetics announced today that it will host a series of runway shows, presentations, special events and other creative activities at Milk Studios during New York Fashion Week (September 10-17) for the Spring 2010 season.

Fusion Brands Inc. announced today the retirement of Randi Shinder who has served as the company's chief executive officer for the past eight years.
