Guess what I did not know? Well, actually I do not know a great deal. But I mean what word did I not know in the past five minutes. If you have not already guessed from the title of this blog post, you may be as clueless as I am... Anyway, the word that I did not know until I did some research was "Fairisle".
It turns out that fairisle is a knitting style that originated in the Shetland Islands of Scotland, which is characterized by geometric-shaped patterns.
I guess we are now all just a little smarter..
