Stella McCartney will be designing a clothing collection for the Gap Inc. She will design clothing for children and babies. The new Stella McCartney collection is expected to launch late in 2009. The collection will be sold in select GapKids and babyGap stores in the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Ireland and Japan. The children's collection will also be sold online in the United States.
As you may know, Stella McCartney is the daughter of Beatle Paul McCartney. She launched her brand in 2001 in a joint venture with Gucci Group.
