Charlotte Russe Holding, Inc. a growing mall-based specialty retailer of fashionable, value-priced apparel and accessories targeting young women in their teens and twenties, today announced that Bernard Zeichner plans to retire from the Board of Directors of Charlotte Russe Holdings Inc, effective June 1, 2008. The Board of Directors unanimously appointed Ms. Jennifer Salopek as the new Chairman of the Board.

Salopek is a Principal with ARC Business Advisors, LLC, a New York
City based firm that provides strategic advisory services to businesses and
investors in the apparel, retail and consumer industries. She has extensive
retail and consulting experience including positions as Executive Vice
President of Strategy with Tommy Hilfiger Corporation, as Partner with
PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting and its successor, IBM Business
Consulting Services and as Senior Vice President at Calvin Klein, Inc.
