Upcoming Show Dates. The next round of fashion shows will take place 13 - 15 July 2007 in New York City (instead of September) to follow the Paris Haute Couture shows on the world fashion calendar. This sets the couture fashion shows apart from the prêt-a-porter shows in New York and will facilitate additional international press coverage.

Latest Couture Fashion Week Shows a Great Success. Amid the cheers, applause, oohs and ahs of an enthusiastic audience, an array of accomplished international designers presented their collections over 3 days in February at the world-famous Waldorf-Astoria in New York City.

Participating designers were: Gordana Radic (Croatia), Henrieta Duffner (Germany), Jamil Khansa (Lebanon), Katya Leonovich (Russia now based in Italy) Denimaxx (Ukraine now based in New York), Kostas Gagasoules (Greece now based in New York), Haya Al Houti (Kuwait), Stefan Bell (New York), Silva Levit (Moldova now based in the USA), JJ Schoeman (South Africa), Andres Aquino (New York) and Estella Couture (Nigeria now based in the USA). In attendance were top diplomats from Croatia, Lebanon, Lebanon, The Philippines, Moldova, Kuwait and South Africa.
