Through Zazzle’s unique technologies, creating and buying custom embroidery products is quick, easy and affordable – the experience is unlike anything else available online. Consumers are able to choose from pre-designed embroidered products from the Zazzle community, as well as more than 15,000 customizable clip art designs, which are available on an array of products. In addition, consumers can design their own embroidered products by using Zazzle’s design tools to add text, upload their own stitch files, or upload bitmap images which Zazzle will convert to stitch files. If image conversion is necessary, it’s done at the highest quality, takes 24 to 48 hours and has an affordable one-time fee. Image conversion prices start at $5, and once the image is converted, Zazzle will manufacture the product within 24 hours.
“The Zazzle experience for creating, buying and selling embroidered products is game-changing. Our design tools are intuitive and powerful for both amateurs and professionals. Our proprietary Realview technology shows users exactly what embroidered products will look like, and the new Stitch Player shows real-time 3D animations of exactly how embroidered designs will be stitched. It’s incredibly engaging,” said Bobby Beaver, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Zazzle. “The pre-existing consumer experience for embroidery was a cumbersome, multi-week process which required creating a bitmap design, having it converted to a stitch file at considerable expense, having samples manufactured for review, approving the stitch file and then waiting for the products to be made. Zazzle has compressed the process for creating high-quality embroidered products from weeks to just 24-48 hours, a first for the industry.”
With the launch of embroidery come many new products including a wider selection of hats, polo shirts, zip and pullover hoodies, tote bags and more. Sellers and consumers can design on many new areas including the front and back, sleeves, nape, left and right chest and more. Pricing is determined by stitch count, with the first 10,000 stitches free. Consumers are able to choose from over 100 fonts including monograms and the Greek alphabet, available in over 100 different thread colors.
“Embroidery is an especially great addition for Zazzle’s community of designers and sellers. The offering furthers our commitment of empowering our community to monetize their creative works through a variety of high-quality products,” said Jeff Beaver, Chief Product Officer and Co-Founder of Zazzle. “Sellers can now increase their product lines instantly with many different styles and colors of embroidered hats, hoodies, jackets and polos.”
There are no start up fees, no inventory risk, and most products are produced on-demand within 24 hours of ordering. As with all Zazzle products, there is no minimum quantity requirement, so Zazzle’s custom embroidery offering is a great value to consumers, as well as to organizations large and small including campus groups, small businesses and charities.
