Top LA Designers Sue Wong, Allen B. Schwartz and Reps from Christian Audigier Join Mayor in Launching LA Fashion Market at the California Market Center

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is joined by top LA-based fashion designers Sue Wong, Allen B. Schwartz (A.B.S.) and representatives from Christian Audigier (Ed Hardy), along with the Executive Director of the LA Fashion District, Kent Smith in kicking off LA Fashion Market at a breakfast press conference at the California Market Center.

 

WHAT:

Los Angeles is fast becoming one of the most important fashion leaders in the world, both in terms of design and manufacturing. L.A. designers are selling in more international markets than ever before and are setting trends everywhere.
 
Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa will recognize LA's leadership role in the fashion industry at a special press conference launching LA Fashion Market. He will be joined on-stage by several designers who exemplify the different styles LA is known for, ranging from the elegant sophistication of Sue Wong to the hip, trendiness of Christian Audigier, to the eminently wearable, fashion forward designs of Allen B. Schwartz and his A.B.S. brand. Each designer will showcase some of their upcoming styles for Fall '08.
