For the public display the organizers are offering actress' film clips, photos, screen costumes from the movies such as "Inspiration" and "Queen Christina." The other part of display named "Everyday Elegance" includes Garbo's collection of dresses, camel coats, hats, gloves, raincoats and scarves. Among these items were her Louis Vuitton suitcases, design pieces by Givenchy, Pucci and New York couturier Valentina. These carefully preserved items by the Reisfeld family never been displayed before.

Italian shoemaker Ferragoma crafted his first shoes for Garbo in Hollywood in 1927. In the bio of Ferragamo he reconts Garo when she told him, ‘I don’t have any shoes. And I want to walk.’ “In five sessions I created for her a series of low-heeled, closed-toe styles,” he recalled. “ … as she paced the floor of the salon in the first pair she smiled at me as she smiled in “Ninotchka” … altogether she ordered seventy pairs.”

The duration of expo at Triennale will last untill May. Further the exhibition venue will move to the Ferragamo Museum, Palazzo Spini Feroni, in Florence.
