Golden Age Brands, LLC, the owner of Lord Isaacs, the brand long known for its comfortable and casual lines of classically inspired women’s denim jeans, pants, knit tops and sweaters, announced today that it had entered into an multi-year license agreement with Kovac Manufacturing, Inc. Under the license agreement for the Lord Isaacs brand, the company will design, manufacture, promote and sell a full range of Women’s sportswear in knit and woven fabrics throughout the United States and Canada. This branded line will include a broad selection of products including pants, shorts, and skirts; shirts, tops, vests and jackets.
Kovac Manufacturing, Inc. of Montreal, Quebec, Canada was established in 1956, and has been designing and developing Women’s Fashions for the Canadian and U.S. markets in its own factories in Canada, and with strategic partners in Asia.
“We are very pleased to announce our consummation of a new licensing agreement with Golden Age, and that we will be continuing our product development and manufacturing activities under the Lord Isaacs brand,” commented John Kovac, Vice President of Kovac Manufacturing.
“We have found the Lord Isaacs brand to have significant market recognition in the mature consumer segment, and we will continue to develop and produce the styles, in fabric and size specifications that have made Lord Isaacs a preferred name for over thirty years. We plan to further establish the Lord Isaacs brand in select retail outlets and channels for 2008.”
