Staffing Industry Analysts today announced that Nike Corporation has joined its Contingent Workforce Strategies Council, an innovative service that helps the Fortune 1000 better manage their growing reliance on temporary and contract labor. Staffing Industry Analysts announced that Nike Corporation has joined its Contingent Workforce Strategies Council, an innovative service that helps the Fortune 1000 better manage their growing reliance on temporary and contract labor.
   
"The Council is a terrific way for Nike to learn how it can maximize its return on investment in contingent labor, share best practices, and achieve the increasingly important objective of attracting and retaining the best talent," said Daniel Hanyzewski, Staffing Director of Global Functions.
   
Nike joins a growing list of members which includes: Accenture, Avery Dennison, The Boeing Company, The Capital Group, Caremark, Dell, Inc., Eli Lilly and Company, HP, Levi Strauss & Co., Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, Perot Systems, Regence Group, R.J. Reynolds and UPS as subscribers in the service, which was launched in February 2007.
