Flocking is a decorative detail in clothing in which raised pieces of cloth are applied to the surface in a particular pattern by using an adhesive.  A flocked finish allows you to create among other things, a professional looking suede like lining or finish.  Flocking can be used for t-shirt designs or other embellishment for clothing and fashion accessories.

The application of Flocking is a rather simple process. However, it can be a very messy process.  If you plan on doing flocking yourself it is highly suggested that you wear some sort of dust mask.

If you are manufacturing garments with flock it is suggested that you do not skimp on the adhesive or the fibers.  Equally or more important, you must definately resist the temptation to touch the surface before the finish has fully dried.
