As a someone that has a grade A "black belt" in shopping, I've learned a thing or two to finding really great deals on designer fashion, especially designer shirts. Designer shirts, and designer clothing in general, are sometimes difficult to find at a decent price. But trust me, as someone that loves fashion but is also budget conscious, there is definitely a happy medium between the two. With all that said, if you are on the prowl for beautiful designer shirts, here are a few tips that I think will be useful for you.

1. Shop at the end of the season

When you have to shop for good deals, the end of the season is the best time to hit the malls. Why you might ask? Well once the new inventory is shipped out to the retailers, stores are pressured to get rid of last season's stock, and since they can't just give it away (although I wish they would!) they usually set up a huge clearance sale. Go to your nearest department store or boutique during the end of the season, and you can get amazing deals on basically anything. For instance, I remember I did some discount shopping at the end of the season at a major department store scored a fabulous Marc Jacobs blouse for about 50% off! So trust me, it really does pay off to shop at the end of the season.

2. Search the clearance pages online

We all have our favorite fashion retailers that sells wonderful designer clothing. And although sometimes buying items from these retailers seems unrealistic, they usually have permanent sales and clearance pages on their site - so it might be a good idea to check in with those pages every so often. Usually with online retailers, they are able house large stocks of inventory in their warehouses, which means more choices than going out to the stores. And most of the time, retail websites seem to always have something on sale, even designer shirts. So if you are hunting for that fabulous Tory Burch blouse that you've had your eye on last seasonl, then who knows, it may be already on sale online.

3. Go to special fashion events and trunk shows

If you're one of those lucky girls that live by a major city, once in a while there are special truck shows that showcase many designer fashions all at a good price. Actually there are a number of national trunk shows that travel to cities like New York, Chicago, L.A., San Francisco and many other major cities and essentially host a fabulous shopping party. Whether it is designer jeans or a designer blouse or even accessories, depending on the event, you are sure to find some really great deals on major and indie designer clothes. Check out online and see if there is a fashion event rolling around in your town.

Shopping for designer clothes, especially designer shirts may seem like a hard task in itself. With all of us pinching pennies and watching our budgets, it seems that fashion is taking a back seat. But if you just know the tricks of the trade in shopping for designer shirts, then your wallet won't be hurting as much.
