Von Dutch

Before Ed Hardy there was Von Dutch. Von Dutch clothing and hats were made popular in the late 90s and early 2000s, and the label was stamped on nearly everything. Men and women everywhere just had to have their hands on a Von Dutch trucker hat. The sensation has since died down, but you can still purchase a Von Dutch trucker hat from many online retailers. The great thing about Von Dutch trucker hats are their colors and prints. The hats are far from basic, and you can show your moods by wearing one of the many multicolored hats. Ed Hardy

The hard core tattoo-esque line of apparel by Ed Hardy has replaced Von Dutch in the fashion scene. In 2004 Christian Audigier purchased the rights to reproduce popular tattoo artist Ed Hardy's clothing line. Like Von Dutch, Audigier has attempted to market the line to popular stars (Brittany Spears is a fan), and have trendy stores in the hottest places (Miami, Los Angeles, and other international venues). However, unlike Von Dutch the Ed Hardy line is hard, tough, and attitude in your face. The Ed Hardy line isn't for the meek and mild; if rhinestone encrusted trucker hats with images of crouching tigers, old English script, bludgeoned hearts, and makeshift tattoo graffiti is your thing, then an Ed Hardy trucker hat is for you.

Tongue in check and toilet humor can also be found on trucker hats. If you don't take yourself too seriously, wear a trucker hat with a Bob name tag stitched on top (even if your name isn't Bob). The jokes abound, and you are sure to find a hat that will make you laugh.
