More than 40 million people who live with disabilities or other conditions that limit what they can wear now have exciting new options. The Cast Clothing Company announced today that, in addition to providing adaptive clothing for those who live with various conditions affecting their limbs, they now offer custom-made adaptive clothing for an expanded range of disabilities and conditions. Filling the gap left from the current market's limited styles and options to a small group of individuals, Cast Clothing's expanded line is intended to provide a product that meets a customer's individual, specific needs and requirements, regardless of their disability or condition.

"We were receiving a great number of requests for clothing that fell into a variety of categories outside our demographic," says Michael Harding, the company's founder and president, "Originally, we focused on broken bones - arms and legs, individuals who wear prosthetics and those who live with a chronic condition called Lymphedema." With time, he
explains, the need to expand the company's offerings became clear. "What we found is that a large majority of conditions actually affect the limb in some way or another and provide challenges to people trying to live a normal life."

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, there are just over 49 million in the United States people live with some type of long lasting condition or disability. Of that number, more than 40 million could benefit from the products and services now offered by Cast Clothing.

"We were surprised to find that no major clothing line or label had reached out to this market of individuals in need," Harding admits. "Although there are a number of adaptive clothing companies in the market, they offer a limited range of products. We want to open that offering up so that no one is left out."

Cast Clothing's patent-pending process combined with its ability to customize garments based on an individual's needs set it apart. "To hear our clients talk about how they can now do things that had held them back due to the clothing options that were previously available to them, and to literally see the tears in there eyes when they see that someone has finally done something specifically for them, it makes what we do worth every second."

The Cast Clothing Company, based in Palm Springs, Florida, is the only clothing company of its kind that is focused solely on custom adaptive clothing options for individuals who live with a variety of conditions affecting their limbs as well as providing custom adaptive clothing
alternatives for individuals who live with any disability or condition whether temporary or permanent.
