Since the appointment of the Receivers and Managers to Hualon Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd (Receivers and Managers Appointed) ["Hualon"] on 30th November, 2006, the Receivers and Managers have continued to run the operations of Hualon with the support of the employees, the local utility providers, local and worldwide customers and suppliers.  The Receivers and Managers are now inviting interested parties to submit offers to acquire the operating business and assets of Hualon, which should reach the Receivers and Managers by 3rd August, 2007

Sale of Fully Integrated Textile Manufacturing Plant in Malaysia
Since the appointment of the Receivers and Managers to Hualon Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd (Receivers and Managers Appointed) ["Hualon"] on 30th November, 2006, the Receivers and Managers have continued to run the operations of Hualon with the support of the employees, the local utility providers, local and worldwide customers and suppliers.

    The Receivers and Managers are now inviting interested parties to submit offers to acquire the operating business and assets of Hualon, which should reach the Receivers and Managers by 3rd August, 2007.
   
Hualon is a major textile manufacturer in the world, which owns and operates a fully integrated textile production facility of global standards and scale in Malaysia. Hualon employs over 7000 employees to run its operations. The production facility, which includes more than 20 plants and spread over 197 acres, is strategically located within industrial estates in the southern states of Negeri Sembilan and Melaka in Malaysia. This production facility is within close proximity to the international port of Port Klang, which gives access to international shipping routes and KLIA.
   
Hualon has a combined capacity to produce over 500,000MT of polyester and blended yarns, 30,000MT of nylon, 150,000MT of PET bottle grade chips and between 400 - 500 million yards of fabrics annually. Hualon has an annual turnover of USD 800 million and is predominantly export oriented with sales to Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Hong Kong, India, Iran, Korea, Syria, Turkey, and Vietnam.
