Sport Supply Group, Inc (NASDAQ: RBI) today announced it has been awarded the U.S. Communities Contract to act as the exclusive supplier of sporting goods, physical education equipment and uniforms for the program for the period October 1, 2009 – September 30, 2014. The agreement also includes a provision for two potential extension years.

U.S. Communities™ Government Purchasing Alliance is a nonprofit government purchasing cooperative that assists local and state government agencies, school districts (K-12), higher education, and nonprofits in reducing the cost of purchased goods through pooling the purchasing power of public agencies nationwide.
