While most people know bamboo simply as panda food or for decorative furniture, the natural wonders of bamboo-blended fabrics have been known for several years by a few high-end clothing manufacturers, who favor it for it's softer-than-cashmere feel and quality, and by the makers of sport clothes, who value it for it's durability, climate control, and antimicrobial attributes. However, Organica Essentials may be the first company to recognize all the fantastic properties of bamboo and realize the perfect application: baby clothes! Since 2007, Organica Essentials has been producing Baby Bambu a line of simple and elegant rompers, onesies, hats, blankets, and more, all out of their silkiest bamboo fabrics.

“Sustainability in Performance Apparel: Meeting the Demands of an Eco-Conscious Marketplace”

The performance apparel industry has often been singled out for the damage its operations cause to the environment, and for the poor working conditions in some of the factories it uses. However, many of the leading brand companies and their suppliers have responded positively to such criticism in a bid to satisfy the demands of an increasingly eco-conscious marketplace. Some firms have gone even further and have shown a genuine commitment to protecting the planet by reducing their carbon footprint and pursuing socially responsible policies in every aspect of their businesses.
