As of summer 2009, Body Look – the International Trade Fair for Body, Beach and Legwear – will take place annually instead of semi-annually. The trade fair will not be held in February 2009 as initially scheduled. The show’s organizer Igedo Company made this decision in consultation with the advisory board of Body Look which consists of representatives from the exhibitor, buyer and association sector. For this summer, the Igedo Company plans a new, extremely lifestyle-oriented exhibition concept with broader ranges and segments. The trade fair will be held from July 26 – 28, 2009 in Düsseldorf , Germany and will be the first event in Europe for the new order season in the bodywear and swimwear industry.

A reader panel survey of more than 1,400 women over the age of 40 conducted by More magazine and Lands' End found nearly half (47 percent) of respondents have gained swimsuit confidence with age, admitting they feel most confident in a swimsuit since turning 40-years-old.
